Does the town/city have the amenities you are looking for?  If you live an active lifestyle, make sure the area around the house will allow you to continue this lifestyle.

What does the neighborhood association have to offer?  Several communities have parks, playgrounds, and a pool.  Also, be sure to look at what the yearly association fees are.

What will my average utility cost be?  This is too often overlooked when buying a house.  These numbers need to be figured into the budget when looking at what you can afford.
