As we countdown the final hours of 2010 today, we all have things to look forward to in 2011.  Whether we are starting a new job, buying a new home, or welcoming a new addition to the family, the excitement of the endless opporunities a new year brings is at an all time high in the final hours.  The preparation for the new year wouldn't be complete without some New Years Resolutions.  Here are a list of some of the most popular resolutions made.  Did your resolutions make the list?

Not one to make New Years Resolutions?  Feel like they set you up for failure?  A simple solution for that is don't make one!!  Instead of saying that you want to lose 30 pounds in this new year, set smaller, more achievable goals to get you to that point.  Losing 30 pounds as a resolution is so vague, how are you supposed to measure your success or see what kind of progress you are making.  And what happens if you lose those thirty pounds by May?  Do you stop eating healthy and go back to a normal routine?  By setting smaller more achievable goals, you will be able to track your progress, and feel better about meeting those goals on a weekly/monthly basis.  Setting and meeting smaller goals for ourselves creates a satisfaction and drive that pushes us, and before you know if you have accomplished your end goal!
