Need your house spring cleaned or outside work that needs to be done? Hire an HSE student on March 26th.
Pick one project or several that a student can do for you. The 8th Annual Carrie Colglazier Workday will be Saturday, March 26. As part of the workday, you can hire a student to spring clean, mulch, wash windows, paint, do lawn work, plant flowers, trim bushes, rake leaves, empty gutters, clean the garage or complete other chores. Students will work up to eight hours with a minimum donation of $25 per worker.
All proceeds go to the Carrie Colglazier Scholarship Fund that awards scholarships to selected members of HSEHS’s girls soccer, girls track, National Honor Society or the district chapter of FFA. Colglazier, a 2002 Hamilton Southeastern High School graduate, was tragically killed by a drunk driver in 2003. She was a two-sport all-state athlete in soccer and track. She was also very involved in the FFA program and a member of National Honor Society.
