Home Buyer Tax Credit
Wednesday, January 27, 2010
As you are surely aware by now, the government extended the First Time Home Buyer Credit through April 30, 2009. What this means is if you haven't owned a primary residence in the past 3 years, you may qualify for an $8,000 tax credit for purchasing a home. There are some restrictions that may apply, so click here to be directed to the government website.
In addition to the first time home buyer, the government added a move-up/repeat home buyer tax credit. To see if you would qualify for the move-up tax credit, click here.
